framing advice

It is important to remember that our prints are original limited editions and should be treated with the same care as any other original artwork (a watercolour, for example)

We recommend that prints are mounted by a professional framer using, for example, conservation grade mounting board and linen tape. If in doubt ask the framer if their work is to conservation standard.

Regarding the frame itself, you can either have a bespoke frame made to size or opt for an 'off the shelf' solution. Frames can be bought ready made from a number of retailers including Habitat, Ikea and John Lewis in a range of sizes, colours and materials.

All our prints fit a standard size 50x70 cm frame and, If you take your print and a frame along to a framers, they will be happy to cut you a mount to fit.

It is also possible to purchase frames and mounts online from a number of e-retailers.

The frames that we have used in most of our ‘in situ’ images are from the Aluminus range and are available from most Habitat stores.
